Chelsea Cameron, a young member from the Dundee congregation, was invited to the Scottish Parliament for a chat with the First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, on Thursday 30th March in Edinburgh, following her appearances in the media and TV recently. The First Minister has been following Chelsea's story with great interest and admiration. A letter written by Chelsea to her drug addicted parents in a blog was picked up by local and national media, on TV and in print.

Chelsea, aged 18 years, has previously said, "It's my hope and desire to continue to speak up for young people, to speak up for changes being made in our society which decreases stigma against children with parents who suffer from addiction, to speak up for the gift of choice but most of all to speak up and show people a positive side to life in this ever growing world of chaos."
The First Minister was very welcoming and sincerely interested and supportive of Chelsea's story. Chelsea has been approached by different local charities who want to work with her to continue to help young people in similar situations."
