New bishop for Portadown

On Sunday 10th August 2014, Philip Moss (centre) was called as Bishop of the Portadown congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Robert McIlwrath (left) and Bryan Monroe (right) were called to be his counsellors.  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not have paid ministry so Bishop Moss will continue in his present employment as a Store Manager as well as being a spiritual leader to the congregation.

Bishop Moss expressed his gratitude to his wife Christine and their three children for their love and support and said that it is an honour and a privilege to serve The Lord Jesus Christ through leading the congregation in Portadown.
