It has been a busy past few months for excited choir members of the Kettering Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as they prepared for the annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday evening.
Included in the audience of 200 members and friends were local MP, Phillip Hollobone, Mayor of Corby, Councillor Gail McDade and deputy mayor of Kettering, Councillor James Hakewill to hear festive renditions from the enthusiastic choir members aged from 12 "“ early sixties.
To show the special guests around was bishop Richard Hough and Northampton Stake President, Karl Hirst at the Rothwell Road Meeting house. The programme was a mix of Christmas songs, carols and readings, under the direction of Holly Carter, and all agreed the event is growing more and more popular and may even extend to two evenings next year!
