Hartlepool Take to the Streets for British Red Cross

On a recent cold morning members from the Hartlepool congregation, in the Billingham area were all geared up to collect money for the British Red Cross in a local superstore. Mary Barratt from the congregation already regularly collects for the British Red Cross but asked local members for their help. Although there were only 9 individuals that day they collected for 3 hours and raised over £400 from very generous shoppers.

All agreed that it is was a very pleasant experience dealing with members of the public and the members were grateful to be able to assist the charity with these much needed funds.
