Church works with Award-winning educational film-maker to explain beliefs and values

Lewis and Leanda welcome TrueTube to the Hyde Park Mormon Chapel to give a guided tour, and talk about their faith as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Young Mormons Lewis Mancer, from Brighton and currently serving a full-time mission in the Netherlands, and Leanda Akuoko – studying medicine at the University of Leeds – are the ‘stars’ of a new mini-documentary produced by TrueTube, a leading website for schools that provides videos, lesson plans and assembly scripts for Religious Education and Citizenship classes.

The film shows a Sunday worship service at Hyde Park Chapel, London, and explains the Christ-centred nature of the Church including background to the Book of Mormon and the work of Mormon missionaries, as well as giving Lewis and Leanda a chance to talk about their hopes for the future.

TrueTube aims to make films and produce resources that support the learning of young people in classrooms across the United Kingdom and worldwide.
